Toy Story 2 (1999) was by far one of my least favourite Pixar films when I was younger. I seemed to remember being so excited for it being released but I guess it just didn't match the hype for me. The film made $485m making more than the first. The strength of the characters isn't lost, but the introduction of others takes away from the closeness to the originals.
The story as I remember it- Andy parents hold a yard sale and Woody ends up getting up in the sale after trying to rescue another toy, a geeky man steals him to add to his collection, where Woodys starts to feel at home, by the end he persuades the other toys that he has met to join Andys collect.
My favourite character for this Toy Story was Zurg, Buzz's arch enemy. The Star Wars line 'I am your father' was a favourite of the film, especially now knowing the link between Pixar and LucasArts
